ReliAdapt, LLC, an Ohio Limited Liability Company (“ReliAdapt,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at reliadapt.com (the “Site”), how we use and protect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your information.
By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Who we are
ReliAdapt is a global professional services firm with offices in Cleveland, OH (United States), Hyderabad (India), Rotterdam (Netherlands), São Paulo (Brazil), Singapore (Singapore), and Tel Aviv (Israel). For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), ReliAdapt acts as the “data controller” of the personal data collected through this Site.
If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, you can reach us at privacy@reliadapt.com.
The information we collect
We collect personal data in the following ways.
Information you give us directly. When you fill out a contact or inquiry form, we collect the details you provide, which typically include your name, email address, company or organization, and the content of your message. When you apply for a job through our Site, we collect the information in your application, which may include your name, contact details, resume or CV, work history, education, and any other information you choose to share as part of the recruitment process.
Information we collect automatically. When you visit the Site, our analytics providers and we automatically collect certain technical information about your device and how you use the Site. This may include your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring pages, the pages you view, and the dates and times of your visits. We collect this information through cookies and similar technologies, described in the “Cookies and analytics” section below.
We do not intentionally collect special categories of sensitive personal data (such as health, religion, or political views) through the Site, and we ask that you do not submit such information through our forms.
How we use your information
We use the personal data we collect to:
- respond to your inquiries and provide the information or services you request;
- evaluate and manage job applications and recruitment;
- operate, maintain, and improve the Site and understand how it is used;
- keep the Site secure and prevent fraud or misuse;
- send you communications you have requested, or that relate to an existing relationship; and
- comply with our legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
Legal bases for processing (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region where the GDPR or a similar law applies, we rely on the following legal bases to process your personal data:
- Consent, for example, when you choose to submit a form or agree to non-essential cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Performance of a contract or steps taken at your request, for example, when handling a job application or responding to a service inquiry.
- Legitimate interests, for example, to operate and improve the Site, understand our audience, and keep our systems secure, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Legal obligation, where we must process data to comply with applicable law.
Cookies and analytics
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small files stored on your device that help the Site function and let us understand how visitors use it.
We use two broad categories:
- Essential cookies, which are necessary for the Site to work properly, cannot be switched off in our systems.
- Analytics cookies, which help us measure traffic and understand how visitors interact with the Site, so we can improve it. We use third-party analytics tools for this purpose.
You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where we provide one, through our cookie consent banner. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site functions. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies; instructions are usually found in the browser’s help section.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers. We use trusted third parties to help us operate the Site and our business, such as website hosting, analytics, email, and recruitment tools. These providers may process your data on our behalf and are bound to protect it.
- Within ReliAdapt. Because we operate globally, your data may be accessible to ReliAdapt teams in the offices and hubs where we deliver services, for the purposes described in this policy.
- Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose data where required by law, to respond to legal requests, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of ReliAdapt, our clients, or others.
- Business transfers. If ReliAdapt is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
International data transfers
ReliAdapt operates across multiple countries, including offices and delivery hubs outside the European Economic Area and the United States. This means your personal data may be transferred to, stored in, or accessed from countries whose data protection laws differ from those in your own country.
When we transfer personal data internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains protected, including using appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required to meet legal, tax, or regulatory obligations. Inquiry information is generally retained for as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your request. Job applicant data is retained for the duration of the recruitment process and, where permitted, for a reasonable period afterward in case a future opportunity arises. When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal data:
- the right to access the personal data we hold about you;
- the right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- the right to request deletion of your data;
- the right to restrict or object to certain processing;
- the right to data portability, to receive your data in a portable format; and
- the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@reliadapt.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. You will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
For EU and UK residents. If you believe we have not handled your personal data properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In the Netherlands, this is the “Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens”.
For US residents. Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. As noted above, we do not sell personal data. To make a request, contact us at privacy@reliadapt.com.
Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Third-party links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites and services that we do not control. This policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any site you visit.
Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for a business audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
